1. Strategic Planning, Meetings & Coordination

Held multiple meetings and brainstorming sessions with TYPF team members to align on event goals, themes, and conceptual framing.

Participated in recce visits to explore materials for the event.

Joined coordination calls to finalize the registration form, artist outreach, and communication strategy.

Supported logistical planning and developed event flow and structure in collaboration with the team.

2. Research, Conceptualization & Writing

Conducted extensive reading and analysis of existing collateral, including concept notes, to inform the event’s direction.

Authored and iteratively refined concept notes for:

TYPF Birthday Event

“Communities of Care” theme and sub-themes

Developed a preliminary research and analysis flow document, framing how care and collectivity could be approached through youth-led, feminist, and participatory lenses.

Compiled a repository of TYPF staff and alumni, mapping experiences, networks, and potential collaborators.

Conducted background research for the TYPF Birthday Video and wrote the accompanying event write-up.

3. Communication & Outreach

Designed and sent emailers to partners, participants, and collaborators.

Populated an artist collaboration sheet with potential performers and creators whose work aligns with TYPF’s ethos of care, creativity, and collectivity.

Brainstormed on event themes and names to ensure alignment with TYPF’s identity and mission.

Drafted and circulated “Care Cards” as part of the event’s engagement strategy.

4. Creative Production & Event Development

Led ideation for the Birthday Party—framing it as a celebration of care, resilience, and community.

Curated films and creative elements to feature at the event, tying together storytelling, performance, and participatory art.

Collaborated on developing the event flow—sequencing performances, reflections, and interactive segments.

Supported creation of the “Communities of Care” concept note and curated a list of youth-led organizations engaging with care, collectivity, and feminist praxis for potential partnerships.
